Signalling FootJoy’s largest ever investment into the women’s shoes sector, the 2016 range incorporates no fewer than seven models that boast an array of different styles and vibrant colours designed to appeal to the full spectrum of female golfers.

Three separate families sit within the new exciting line-up – with a ‘Fun’ category bolstered by the emPOWER and enJoy models, a ‘Function’ line encompassing emBODY, eMerge and D.N.A. shoes, and a ‘Fashion’ range featuring classy Tailored and Casual Collections.

The spikeless emPOWER shoe, which has already been put into play by the 2015 Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year and Solheim Cup star, Hull.

Designed with bold athletic styling, emPOWER offers a sensationally comfortable, eye-catching option for women golfers who demand the very highest in performance levels.

The emPOWER’s distinctive look begins with its colour-splashed BreathEasy™ sports mesh that delivers premium breathability and keeps the golfer’s foot cool throughout the day, whether wearing out on the course or in the clubhouse after the round. There are five different colour options on offer, including the standout Navy/Plum model with Boa, and each shoe comes with a one-year limited waterproof warranty.

As with all women’s shoes in the FJ line, emPower was created specifically to deliver comfortable performance. Developed using the women’s Power Last, emPower offers a rounded, athletic toe character with a generous fit across the forefoot with a slightly narrow heel. A new, soft underfoot foam with EveryStep™ technology and a massaging footbed ensure ultimate comfort throughout the round.

“When we speak with female players during our market research visits, the two most important shoe attributes they request are, almost unanimously, comfort and style,” said Mike Foley, FootJoy’s Director for Footwear Marketing. “The emPOWER shoe was made to address those two attributes head on by combining aggressive, contemporary styling with innovative underfoot comfort features.”

And, in delivering superior grip out on the course, FootJoy has also integrated MaxGrip™ traction pods into the shoe’s outsole to help golfers make more stable swings in a wider range of weather conditions on a variety of terrains.

enJoy
The enJoy model incorporates a spikeless design that is suited to women golfers who enjoy playing in the warmer months. Available in Grey/Papaya and Aqua/Lime colour combinations, the exceptional shoe incorporates a soft, lightweight EVA midsole and outsole, as well as breathable, athletic mesh uppers to keep the feet cool. The enJoy is also machine washable and available in two very different colour options.
