23.10 Vant med ny driver:
"Dobbelthanske" Gaineys 60-runde - Callaway driver
Han hadde trent med den nye driveren i uken før den sensasjonelle seieren. Han vant i uke 42 med 60 slag på sisterunden.

Dette skriver TheTourVan om saken:

Tommy Gainey, The McGladrey winner, had a newly updated driver to help him earn his first PGA Tour Victory with a 60 on Sunday.

Gainey used the previous week to experiment with the ideal weighting for a Callaway RAZR Fit driver. He had a new driver created with an additional 1 degree of loft as well as 10 grams of additional weight in the crown, toward the heel, to slightly raise the club's center of gravity. The resulting increased spin gave Gainey between 12 and 15 more yards when testing it on the driving range, according to a Callaway representative.

"I mean everything clicked, man," said Gainey after his 10-under final round. "I mean I hit the driver, I hit the driver really good."

Gainey also said that he normally doesn't use the TrackMan or other launch monitors because "it was throwing out some bad numbers." But he said his work early in the week with the Callaway driver at The McGladrey was different and much more consistent: "TrackMan started coming around a little bit. So maybe it starts to like me a little bit now, I hope."
